A story is often told about a person who received piles and piles of stuff from God, but then he saw his neighbor in need and asked, "God, you have given me so much, thank you. But what about my neighbor who has nothing?" And God said, "Yes, my child, what about your neighbor who has nothing?" God delights in giving us good things, and He wants us to know that same delight, so He gives us opportunities to generously give as well! Giving can be an act of worship, and it can be a very tangible example of the provision and faithfulness of God. Consider how you might show hope to an orphan by wisely stewarding the money God has entrusted you to use for His Kingdom's purposes.

Sponsor an Orphan's Surgery
In many cases, orphans around the world are abandoned or are considered un-adoptable due to surgically correctable defects such as a cleft lip, cleft pallete, or heart problems. Through the Mackenzie Fund with Shaohannah's Hope, you can show hope to these orphans by giving them resources they need for their surgeries.

Provide Shelter
Millions of children around the world are living with no shelter and are on the streets. But they don't have to stay there. You can help give an orphan a place to live just by donating some extra cash or holding a yard sale to de-clutter your own living space. Donate Now >
$50 will purchase a crib for a child and can help provide a safe place for orphans.
$175 will purchase two sets of bunk beds or will help to make a home for orphaned children.
$3,600 will pay for an entire bedroom for 6 special needs orphans in China or will help put a roof over the heads of children in Uganda.

Provide Food
Malnutrition and starvation are claiming too many lives around the world. Share the gift of food with an orphan. Maybe give up a couple meals out or hold a bake sale so that others can eat. Donate Now >
$40 will help provide an orphan with nourishing food for a month or will help give a child the medical treatment they need to keep them alive.
$200 will help supply the necessary means to feed orphaned children, such as a refrigerator or kitchen provisions.
$1,400 will support a children's home or foster family as they provide the nutrition needed by the children under their care.
Provide Care
Children cannot thrive and often do not survive without the love and care many of us take for granted in our families. You can show hope to an orphan and help provide the care they need simply by collecting change with your family or by coming together as a family in Christ to support the needs of these children. $75 will help provide the love and support an orphan needs each month or will help give orphaned and abandoned babies the attention they need to thrive.
$250 will help support domestic foster care and adoption in foreign countries, helping to provide the love and care each child needs right in their own culture.
$800 will help provide the medical staffing a child with special needs requires on a monthly basis, or it could support the nannies that look after an orphan each month.
