Securities Donation Information & Instruction
By donating Securities (stocks, bonds, etc.) to the ministry, the donor is able to support the ministry, avoid paying capital gains taxes and receive a charitable contribution deduction for the fiscal year the transfer took place (consult a tax professional about what tax benefits would specifically apply). You will find below the important information that you will need to execute the transaction.
Please note: To receive a tax statement from Show Hope, Step 2 must be completed.
STEP 1: Transfer Security for Contribution
The easiest way to donate securities is electronically through your broker. You must initiate the transfer with your broker.

STEP 2: Notification of Donor Intent
All stock gifts must include a Notification of Donor Intent. For audit and acknowledgement purposes, the donor or transferring broker should provide the following information using the form provided:

Estate Planning
Following are examples of how to indicate a general or undesignated gift to Shaohannah’s Hope Inc. (dba Show Hope) in your will.
Sample Bequest of Remainder of Estate
I give, devise, and bequeath to Show Hope, Inc. TAX I.D. # 32-0011220 (pay to Division), all [or state the fraction or percentage] of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal. These are suggestions as to content and should be written or adapted by legal counsel to fit the contributor’s individual situation. Note that due to the evolving nature of orphan care, our programs may change based on expanding areas of focus or federal law.
