On March 16, 2000 the Chapman’s walked out of a hotel room in Changsha, Hunan, China with their daughter Shaohannah, and their lives were changed forever. This experience inspired not only the creation of Shaohannah’s Hope, but also the adoptions of two more daughters from China, Stevey Joy and Maria Sue Chapman.
