Over $780,000 Donated To Maria's Miracle Fund

As of Feb 2009, over $780,000 has been donated to Maria's Miracle Fund, which was set up in honor of Maria Sue Chapman, the 5-year old daughter of Steven and Mary Beth Chapman, who lost her life from a tragic accident at their home on May 21, 2008.

The Chapmans and Shaohannah's Hope are extremely grateful for the continued outpouring of generosity that will benefit orphans and the Kingdom of God in an eternal way. Because the financial need is so great, we hope to see that number climb to 1 million and beyond, as we pray that God will continue to meet the needs of orphans around the world as a testimony to the precious life of Maria. Will you join us to surpass that goal?

As Scott Hasenbalg, Executive Director of Shaohannah’s Hope, has stated, “It has been unbelievable to see so many people respond in their desire to support the Chapmans, to remember Maria's life, and to provide for the many orphans around the world. We are extremely aware of the responsibility we have to carry out our mission and be good stewards of every dollar that comes into our ministry.”

To find out more about Maria and how she became a Chapman, visit ShowHope.org and choose “Remembering Maria.” Most of all, we ask that you continue to keep the Chapman family and the Shaohannah’s Hope ministry and staff in your thoughts and prayers.
